Kitchen Table

The kids and I are on our own this week, Jeff's got school again. Yesterday we made ourselves useful and cleaned the windows, mowed the front/back lawns and painted the kitchen table (We have a kinda-home-made table, the top used to be white, for obvious reasons it needed to be a darker color). I painted it a dark, slate blue. It matches the kitchen and my dishes really well. I still need to put on the sealer. I am trying to decide if I should distress it first. I think I probably will, the kids will end up making it look like it is anyway. Might as well make it look purposeful!
