I am a mother to Kaitlyn, Kyle and Jack. And while Mother's Day is a nice day to honor mothers, the day tends to remind me less of myself and more of my children. Not only am I incredibly blessed to be a mother, I am incredibly blessed to be the mother of these three children. I absolutely adore them.
I love Kaitlyn for her happy-go-lucky spirit, there's not much that gets that girl down. She believes that she can do just about anything. She's loving, caring and has a huge servant's heart. She is a ballerina in crisp, clean tights twirling across the stage and also a tomboy in cutoffs, digging in the mud. At almost 8 years old she is my helper, my second pair of hands, my constant reminder that I am training her how to be a godly woman. She is my beautiful first-born, with big brown eyes and freckles on her nose, oh how I love my girl!
