I say all of this because, as you can imagine, Jeff has been a little leery of taking in any more cats. But this weekend my parents found a lost kitten in their front yard. It hung out all weekend, was starving and none of the neighbors knew anything about it. So of course, it is at our house now. The jury is still deliberating whether or not our home will become his permanent place of residence, but bribes of cute cuddling and purring are currently being accepted.

The Cat Tale
Since our marriage ten years ago, Jeff and I have "experienced" 5 cats. The first was the most unpleasant. He was feral from the beginning and we payed for it everyday as he peed in our house, scratched up the screens and generally disliked our very presence. This went on for almost four years. Meanwhile, we picked up a kitty from the SPCA that was way too young. It ended up getting lost and never returning. Then we got a lovely cat, that continuously got the tar beat out of him by the other neighborhood cats. He had a wound on his face that refused to close and after many months of trying to heal him we decided to put him down. It was sometime later that I walked into the vet's office, nine days away from delivering Kyle and demanded that she put our first, feral cat to sleep. She took one look at my huge belly and made no argument. Do you know how hard it is to bury a cat in January? We were finally cat free. That summer Jeff surprised me with a beautiful calico for my birthday (my favorite cat as a little girl was also a calico) but she later suffered the same fate as the one from my childhood and was hit by a car. Somehow we managed to get another cat, our beloved Winnie-Wat. She has been the best cat so far and despite being hit by a car and having her head munched by godzilla-cat, she has been our kitty for 6 years.

Have we named this kitty yet? I had not notice how pink his ears are. Maybe we should call him GG.
Sweet kitty! Don't kill it! :)
Big ears on that little kitty. I find your story humorous for sure!
sincerely,

Maybe your luck is about to change!
